  4. I was thinking about your stories when I made these works, thematically connected, though that is sheer coincidence...

  5. Ms Lanagan, my view is that the stories you write are exquisitely beautiful, in a way that's glorious and raw and full of life, as if the words themselves were breathing out a story-scape. I fell in love with Tender Morsels, and I'm eager to get my hands on this new story. Thank you for what you have brought to fantasy literature, it is much appreciated.

  6. Thanks, Juliet. It's very kind of you to come by here and say so. I hope Sea Hearts, when it arrives, doesn't disappoint !

Deborah, I put your mock-up cover up on Facebook on what I thought was a private page, but it turns out that everyone can see it; it's up there with the real ones, and holding its own perfectly well there. I might leave it up, if that's all right with you?

  8. Oh! hello from Seoul. No worries on the imaginary cover art made public. It's kind of like fanfic, I guess.

  12. I would so love to do covers for both The Brides of Rollrock Island and Tender Morsals. It has taken me 30 years but am beginning to get the knack of it.
