Italian and Czech Black Juices

Allen & Unwin today sent me the contracts for the Italian...

...and Czech language editions of Black Juice.

Whoa! It must be amazing to have your novels published in so many different languages. My class recently read "Singing My Sister Down" for our Introduction to Genres class, and personally, I liked it. I enjoyed how you started the story in the middle of the action, and the readers had to figure out the clues and piece together what was going on as they read. The subject was rather morbid, though, and I shed a few tears, but I really liked the story!

P.S. I recently visited Australia, and it is really amazing!

It is! Here's a link to the cover of the omnibus edition of my short stories in Russian: http://www.amazon.com/Chernyi-sok-Russian-Lanagan-Margo/dp/5170565836/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1315881128&sr=1-1

I don't even know how to pronounce that title.

Morbid? Maybe. I think we should be able to look with clear eyes at all aspects of human existence, including injustice, violence and death.

PS Glad you liked my country!

Best,
Margo.
