I love your story in the book, and I'm confident the bunfight will blow over, and people will move on to the book itself, which would be cool. Should have final copies in a month, almost in time for Conflux and Canberra. You going to be there?

No, with Brisbane this month, the US end Oct and possibly Malaysia in December, things are starting to get out of hand (you know, mustn't have Too Much Fun or anything...oh, okay, there's a budget thing there, too), so I won't get to Conflux. I'll be cheering the launch from here, though.

Same bunfight is going on over the Hugos, I notice. I think it's a worthy bunfight, and I'm glad it keeps coming up, but it's disheartening to have been listening to it for thirty years...
