First editorial letter for Tender Morsels

Damn, what do you mean, it's not perfect? And what the heck is wrong with cloth-golem buggery? I don't know, what is it with readers nowadays...

On a related note, what do you mean "possibly in November 2008". Surely we can't be expected to wait that long???

Say it aint so.

Last I heard, it was possiblyin August in Australia, and 'a Fall book' (i.e. September or October) in the US. It keeps changing, so I'll leave the 'possibly' in the profile until it's a 'definitely' something.

I know, it's a long time. I guess they've got to grow the trees, eh.

Dear Outraged of Lewisham,

Cloth-golem buggery?? I say! Reminds me of my boarding school years.

Intrigued of Marrickville.

Okay, Jonathan, latest is, possibly August-September 2008.

Yes, Chris, it's all good, wholesome fun, wot! And I'm allowed to keep the buggery, apparently. Phew, that was a close shave.

OK. I guess I can wait. I guess I'll have to. That's the trap of a writer blogging about their writing. Us readers get all excited and want to read the book. But there's all this editorial reviewing and printing and binding that still has to be done.
I'll find something else to read in the meantime.
